THE EDUCATION OF DIXIE DUPREE Final Cover

I thought I couldn’t love my cover any more, and then?Β  Kensington’s Art Department did a little fine tuning and this is what we now have!

There are reasons behind every decision made by my publisher.Β  I know why they did this little tweak, but most important is it makes me feel extraordinarily happy for everything they’re doing to support my debut.

What I want to know is…what do you think?

      1. It’s my pleasure, Donna! And I updated the pic. I think that people are still reading it. Plus, I might re-post it on FB later on and mention it when new opportunities arise. I don’t give up easily. I want everybody to know about your book! πŸ™‚ <3 <3 <3

      2. Wheee! Every debut author needs a friend like you Lilac! Thank you so much – I feel I can’t say it enough! So, in that case…((((((hugs))))) and some of these <3 <3 <3 oh and a few of these… πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

  1. It was a wonderful cover to begin with, and they’ve just tweaked it to make it even more wonderfuller. πŸ™‚ Still can’t wait to read it…

  2. Is this like a What’s the Diff game? I love the tagline at the top, but I’m guessing I just missed it before and it’s been there the whole time, right? That’s a great line. You will not have to worry about being one of those authors who has to complain about their cover. Yours is fantastic!

    1. Exactly, both looked super to me, so you’re right about that! The difference is they set the title into that greenish design, and changed the font to white. The title was set against the sundress before…and sort of bluish in color. Either way! I’m loving it!

  3. Colin:
“You see why Janet maintains her blog glossary, and not me?”

Are you saying Janet chooses to maintain a blog glossary over maintaining you? Hm. Maybe you’re unmaintainable. In a good way. Like one of those superstars where the other team says “we can’t stop him, we can only hope to maintain him.” But in your case they’d have to add “we can’t even maintain him, so we just hope he’ll play for us.”

Or, maybe you meant something completely different. I might not have had enough sleep this week.

  4. You’re absolutely correct. I didn’t think your cover could get any better… and then they went ahead and added a GREAT line. Just beautiful. Can’t wait!
