Pam Tillis is the singer/songwriter for THE ROAD TO BITTERSWEET, one of the many talented authors, artists and singer/songwriters who are part of the Trio 2018 season.
She read my book, and then wrote this song to go with it. Needless to say, my heart is overwhelmed by her talent, artistry and generosity. She took the time to deliver on this despite a crazy touring schedule. I am so proud of this haunting, lyrical rendition of my story.
To me, it is perfection. Turn it up, so you can hear all the little nuances to the music (oh, that fiddle!) and the lyrics, but mostly, you’ve got to hear that pure voice of hers.
